Martron RP-26 is a combination rust preventive oil, cleaner, fingerprint neutralizer and suppressor.  It is also a water displacing rust preventive oil.

Martron RP-26 should be used as received.  It may be used as a cleaner-rust preventive because it displaces water and removes perspiration residues.  It also can be used to neutralize acidic contaminants which remain on work following pickling, plating or room temperature black oxide operations.  Martron RP-26 has a unique ability to be able to neutralize these acidic films and has found wide application in hard chrome plating cycles as a rust inhibitor following the hard chrome plating applications.
